The New York List

The greatest city on earth stops for no one, even those living there on a time constraint. My time may be short, living in New York, but I plan on taking advantage of the Fall and holiday season in the city.

  • Go to Katz’s Deli for Uncle Ronnie, order the pastrami
  • Ride the Wonder Wheel on Coney Island
  • See a show in Radio City Music Hall
  • See 5 broadway shows
  • Go to MOMA, The Met, Museum of Natural History, The Whitney, New York Historic Society, Ground Zero, and The Sex Museum
  • Visit the Top of the RockTop of the Rock
  • Run a 5K
  • Visit the Statue of Liberty Statue of Liberty 
  • Go to SNL
  • Ride the Staten Island ferry at sunrise
  • Go ice skating at Rockefeller Center during the ChristmasRockefeller Center during the Christmas
  • Watch the Thanksgiving balloons get blown up & go to Chinatown for dinner
  • Teatime at the Plaza
  • See the Rockettes 
  • Visit the Union Square Holiday Market
  • Visit the Gingerbread Extravaganza at Le Parker Meridien
  • Eat at Rolf’s in Gramercy, known for it’s decorations
  • Attend the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
  • Read “Goodbye to all of that” by Sari Button, on the train ride home from New York for the last time
